{"id":2,"date":"2010-03-02T15:13:39","date_gmt":"2010-03-02T20:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cah-northbay.org\/\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2010-06-13T12:33:55","modified_gmt":"2010-06-13T20:33:55","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cah-northbay.org\/?page_id=2","title":{"rendered":"About the center"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 1ex;\">\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Center for Attitudinal Healing was founded in 1975 in Marin County, by Gerald Jampolsky M.D., a child and adult psychiatrist and author, to provide support for individuals and families in their efforts to address life\u2019s many challenges.\u00a0The psycho-social-spiritual support group model developed in the Center is used today in dozens of countries worldwide\u2014with independent locations in schools, hospitals, churches and homes under the umbrella of Attitudinal Healing International founded by Dr. Jampolsky and Diane Cirincioni, Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p>Today the Center for Attitudinal Healing \u2013 North Bay provides support groups in the Bay Area for people facing such issues as chronic and life-threatening illness, caregiving of loved ones, bereavement, aging, unemployment, marriage and parenting problems, divorce, loneliness, and stress.
